Job Description

The Impact You'll Make The primary function of this position is to operate rubber extruder machines to cover hose with rubber. This is a 3rd Shift position, with work hours from 10:45 pm to 7:00 am, Sunday through Thursday. What You'll Be Doing Perform rubber extrusion service functions, including pin, die, stock, and mandrel changes, and ensure mandrels and tooling are cleaned, maintained, and returned properly after use Set up and operate extrusion equipment by correctly installing vacuum cones, following extruder specification sheets, and completing all required production documentation. Monitor product quality by checking concentricity and ensuring compliance with established specifications and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while supporting continuous production operations. Assist fellow operators, cross-train in multiple functions, and provide operational flexibility across the department. Adhere to all safety, quality, and company guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.
