The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring computer numerical control (CNC) machinery used to fabricate architectural glass products. This position requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and productivity while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery according to production schedules and work orders. Load and unload glass materials safely and efficiently. Read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and production specifications. Verify measurements and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. Make minor machine adjustments to maintain proper operation and product quality. Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly. Perform routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance as assigned. Maintain accurate production records and report completed work. Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized work area using good housekeeping practices. Collaborate with supervisors, quality personnel, and other team members to meet production goals. Assist in training new employees as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. 3+ Yrs of previous CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment required. Experience in the glass industry is a plus but not required. Ability to read tape measures, calipers, and production drawings accurately. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and reach throughout the shift. Ability to safely handle glass products and materials. Ability to work in varying temperatures within a manufacturing facility. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery, glass materials, dust, and noise. Required use of safety glasses, steel-toe footwear, hearing protection, gloves, and other PPE. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.
