Machine Operator I

employees can earn 55K in total compensation when working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses. There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives. Position is full-time with benefits! 1st Shift 8 hour shift schedule: Monday
  • Friday 5:00 AM
  • 1:30 PM 9 hour shift schedule: Monday
  • Thursday Day shift
  • 5:00 AM
  • 2:30 AM Friday 5:00 AM
  • 1:30PM Mandatory alternating Saturdays Day shift
  • 5:00 AM
  • 1:30PM
  • Must be able to work all shift schedules
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures. Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications. Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling. Operate 1 machine (Stud machine, Bridging Stacker, Stacker and Painters). Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.
