Job Description

Parker Fasteners is an American cold heading fastener manufacturer specializing in socket cap screws and specialty fasteners and externally threaded fasteners for the Aircraft, Aerospace, Defense, and Commercial Industries, located in Buckeye, AZ. The company has over 150 years of combined fastener experience spanning multiple generations. Purpose Develop foundational knowledge and hands-on skills across multiple aerospace manufacturing processes. Operate and support precision equipment under the guidance of experienced machinists and leads, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and production standards. Key Responsibilities Training & Development Train across various aerospace production equipment such as cold headers, thread rollers, lathes, grinders, and inspection systems. Learn to set up, adjust, and operate machines to meet aerospace part specifications. Understand and apply basic blueprint reading, measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges), and process documentation. Operational Support Assist experienced operators in machine changeovers, tooling setup, and material preparation. Load, monitor, and unload parts, ensuring continuous flow of production with minimal downtime. Track and record production data, including part counts, inspection results, and downtime causes. Quality & Compliance Perform basic in-process inspections using precision measurement tools. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), AS9100 quality standards, and safety protocols. Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and process consistency. Collaboration Partner with mentors, line leads, and quality inspectors to build proficiency in multiple disciplines. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors on production status and training progress. Participate in team meetings and skill development sessions.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
