Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Fab Operator to join the team. As a Fab Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing of electronic components to given schedule using a range of equipment and processes with a cleanroom environment. This position is shift-based with multiple positions across a compressed work schedule of 12-hour days:
Shift A Hours:
6AM-6PM, Sunday-Tuesday, every other Wednesday (1st shift)
Shift B Hours:
6PM-6AM, Sunday-Tuesday, every other Wednesday (3rd shift)
Shift C Hours:
6AM-6PM, Thursday-Saturday, every other Wednesday (1st shift)
Shift D Hours:
6PM-6AM, Thursday-Saturday, every other Wednesday (3rd shift)
Responsibilities:
Processing of material to the required quality standards and standard operating procedures. Preparation of materials and tooling to applied standards. Undertake periodic quality checks on equipment and processes, as specified. Gathering and recording of data. Carry out visual inspection of product according to the device specific criteria. Identify non-compliant material or abnormal events, taking appropriate action as detailed in applied specifications. Contribute improvement activities and participate within working groups. Achieve production targets by undertaking tasks according to specified plan and priorities using local decision making to account for material and equipment availability. Interface with maintenance and engineering staff regularly throughout a shift. Comply with Environmental Health and Safety regulations within the working environment.
