Job Requirements Gilbert, AZ Clearance Unspecified Polygraph not specified Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Aerospace - Electronics/Avionics -Cable and Harness Technicians to support our Gilbert Manufacturing Center. As a member of the Harness Manufacturing department you'll get to embark on a career putting innovative, reliable, and agile products and ideas into orbit, and beyond. This position will serve on-site at our Gilbert, AZ Campus. This position may be filled as 1st shift or 2nd shift as required. Working Hours for 1st shift are 6am to 330pm and 2nd shift is 3:00pm - 12:30am on a 9/80 schedule. Responsibilities Manufacture cable / harness products. Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed. Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks. Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues. Basic Qualifications for Cable and Harness Technician 1 High School Diploma or GED plus a minimum of 2 additional years of education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production or logistics. A minimum of 1 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring. Must be capable of successfully completing certification to
IPC WHMA-A-620
(Cable and Wire Harness Assembly) and
NASA-J-STD.
Experience reading drawings and wiring diagrams.

Exceptional mechanical/electrical aptitude. ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) and Crimping Experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications for Cable and Harness Technician 1 Graduate from Technical Trade School Current certification to
IPC WHMA-A-620, NASA-J-STD
; or other certifications in electronics assembly and workmanship. Experience with MES applications including workflow, signoff and documentation.
