Job Description

Job Summary:
The Fulfillment Trainee position is an entry-level role within the Finishing & Shipping Departments of DRG Technologies, Inc (an industrial label manufacturer). This role is designed to provide hands-on training and mentorship to individuals aspiring to start a career in the label industry. The Fulfillment Trainee will work closely with experienced finishers and shippers to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to the efficient finishing and shipping of label products.
Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling:
Learn to handle and inspect label materials, ensuring they meet quality standards. 2.
Machine Operation:
Gain hands-on experience in operating finishing machines under the guidance of experienced team members. 3.
Quality Control:
Learn to perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements. 4.
Tool Usage:
Acquire proficiency in the use of hand tools and equipment related to the finishing process. 5.
Workflow Coordination:
Work closely with team members to understand the workflow and coordinate tasks efficiently. 6.
Problem-solving:
Learn to identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during the finishing process, seeking guidance from experienced team members as needed. 7. Adherence to
Procedures:
Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in fulfillment operations. Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to finishing processes when required. 8.

Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and team members.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods during the finishing process. Mobility to move around the finishing area efficiently. Endurance for physical tasks involved in the finishing process, which may include standing, bending, and lifting.
Physical Requirements:
(cont.) Precise use of hands and fingers for handling small components and operating finishing machinery. Ability to use hand tools and equipment associated with the finishing process. Tolerance for repetitive movements, such as bending, reaching, and performing finishing tasks consistently. Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, such as rolls of label materials or finished products. Up to 60 lbs. on occasion. Clear vision, including close-up vision and identification of colors, to inspect and ensure the quality of finished products. Ability to verbally communicate in order to collaborate with team members and supervisors. This job description is a general guideline and is subject to modification based on the evolving needs of the organization. The Fulfillment Trainee will be evaluated throughout the training period. The goal of the fulfillment trainee is to successfully complete training in all areas as required and be promoted to a Finisher or Shipping position.
