Job Description
Machine Operator / Forklift Operator Surprise, AZ (Dysart & Cactus) $19.00-$22.00/hour DOE 1st Shift - 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm Temp-to-Hire We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator / Forklift Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for someone with experience operating production equipment, forklifts, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work while following all safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Operate metal-cutting and production machinery safely and efficiently. Perform work according to production schedules, quality standards, and time expectations. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and make basic adjustments as needed. Monitor cutting alignment and machine performance to ensure product quality. Identify and resolve minor program or operational errors. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials throughout the facility. Perform quality inspections using measuring tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Forklift experience required. Overhead crane experience is a plus. Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch . Ability to perform decimal and fraction conversions. Experience using micrometers and calipers . Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, climb, and move throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
