Job Description:
Tube Assembly operators perform day to day production activities by using most current procedures to maintain production schedules.Essential Responsibilities:
- Ability to wear required PPE to fulfill shift duties: smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses.
- Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality.
- Perform visual checks of product to assure quality.
- Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures.
- Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.
- Must have strong problem solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
- Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.
- Must be able to clearly read and write in English.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of prior manufacturing related experience.Preferred Qualifications:
- Good hand/eye coordination.
- Ability to lift 3-5 lbs. and complete repeat tasks.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Good historical attendance record with minimal unscheduled call offs.
- Self-driven to complete goals and tasks as required.
- Work 12-hour, compressed work week schedule with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
