Paint/ Coating Batch Maker

Production Batch Maker Tucson Rubberized Coatings | Arizona Tucson Rubberized Coatings is a fast-growing paint and coatings manufacturer and retailer seeking a Production Batch Maker to support our expanding operations. This role is responsible for producing high-quality coating batches, leading batch assistants, and ensuring strict safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately weigh, measure, and blend raw materials per batch formulas Operate, clean, and maintain industrial mixers, pumps, and tanks Perform quality checks including viscosity, weight, and consistency testing Monitor raw material inventory and report shortages Enforce cleaning schedules to prevent contamination and maintain safety Lead and coordinate daily work of batch assistants and warehouse associates Provide real-time coaching on accuracy, efficiency, and SOP compliance Enforce PPE and material-handling safety procedures Report safety incidents, equipment issues, or hazards promptly

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment (paint, coatings, or adhesives preferred).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 65 lbs consistently and stand for long periods. Comfort working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noises.

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
