- capable of lifting 40 lbs. safely, with assistance if necessary. Capable of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing job functions, with reasonable accommodations if necessary.

Display good leadership qualities. Be a role model for the department and set the standard of productivity, safety and quality for employees of different levels to follow. Job Duties and Responsibilities Follow the Startup / Shut Down Pre-treatment line procedure
Maintain the pretreatment system for maximum performance and safety.
Keep accurate titration records and monitor system as required by management.
Monitor and maintain pre-treatment tank levels throughout the day and ensure that no tanks overflow.
Monitor tank cleanliness throughout the day and report any concerns to management
Maintain nozzles to assure even coatings throughout the line
Make appropriate additions into the tank as instructed by management.
Mix and maintain stripping solution for zinc weight checking.
Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by working management.
Assure all spills are cleaned up immediately and that nothing goes to drain.
Have a basic understanding of Wastewater and EPA requirements.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
Communicate accurately and effectively to other individuals in the department as well as other departments.
Understand and adhere to the quality system
Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed.
Perform lock-out/tag-out procedure when appropriate.
Maintain neat and clean work area.
Other ad hoc duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to differentiate between materials.
Ability to visually inspect.
Possess basic math and English reading skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent ability to maintain details
Strong organizational skills
A basic understanding of chemistry and titrations Education and Experience
- Manufacturing shop experience preferred.
