Responsibilities:

The package room specialist's primary duties will oversee the receiving of large quantities of packages. You will be responsible for ensuring that all packages are organized in the appropriate package room throughout the day. You will accept the packages, scan the packages into the system, label the packages with the appropriate apartment numbers and organize the packages on the shelves by apartment number. Ensuring the packages are delivered to the resident within a 24 hour period from when the package is scanned in.

Qualifications:

This individual must be able to work efficiently and in an organized manner. This individual must be able to work independently. Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 100lbs Ability to stand and be on your feet the entire shift. Prior experience in a distribution center and/or shipping and receiving is required. Experience with inventory management systems required. Familiarity with shipping carriers (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL) required.
