Job Summary We are looking for an experienced machine operator to operate and maintain plastic extruding equipment on our 2nd shift. Standard shift is Monday through Friday, 2pm to 10pm.
Starting Pay:
$23 per hour + $0.50 shift differential You will make an impact in the following way: Reads and follows Manufacturing Specification to determine machine set-up, materials required, and quantity to run. Analyzes product attributes and determines process adjustments to bring product to spec if necessary, in a continuous process that contains many variables. Gives feedback if instructions in the shop order need to be corrected. Sets up and runs various auxiliary equipment as required. Responsible for safety of self and others in their work area. Complete all necessary paperwork and production posting correctly. Performs all other duties as assigned.
What you will bring:
High School diploma or GED 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Prior experience with plastics, such as plastic extrusion or injection molding, is highly preferred Ability to read and comprehend specifications using the computer system and hard copy. Ability to measure product attributes as required by specifications Ability to be a team player and play a responsible and participatory role Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
