Job Description

PrideStaff is looking for a Tubing Fabricator! Job Summary The Tubing Fabricator Level II independently operates tube laser and tube bending equipment, manages raw material inventory, and ensures parts meet quality and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate the tube laser per job requirements Load and verify laser programs and material specifications Set up and operate the tube bender for standard jobs Verify bend orientation, angles, and lengths Organize, stage, and track raw material and remnants Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools Identify and report nonconforming parts or process issues Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting Assist with training and supporting Level I fabricators Qualifications Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Understanding of tolerances, bend callouts, and cut features Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, protractors, angle gauges) Knowledge of common tubing materials and applications Strong organizational and communication skills Experience 2-5 years of tubing or metal fabrication experience. Advancement to Level III - Requirements To advance from Level II to Level III , the employee must: Independently run both tube laser and tube bender on complex jobs Diagnose and correct common cutting or bending issues Optimize setups to reduce scrap and cycle time Maintain accurate material inventory and remnant usage Demonstrate leadership and mentor junior employees Consistently meet quality, safety, and efficiency goals Show strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $27.00
