Position Overview Premier Staffing Solution is immediately hiring an experienced
EDM / CNC
Operator for a full-time travel assignment supporting a major automotive manufacturing facility in Lorain, Ohio . We are looking for candidates with recent hands-on EDM operating experience along with CNC and/or stamping equipment experience. Candidates should be comfortable performing machine setups, adjustments, changeovers, inspections, and basic troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate EDM and CNC equipment Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers Monitor equipment and production processes for proper operation Inspect manufactured and automotive components for dimensional accuracy Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment Document inspection results and identify nonconforming parts Maintain established production and quality standards Troubleshoot basic machine and process issues Follow all plant safety and quality procedures Work effectively in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment Work overtime as required by production needs Required Qualifications Recent hands-on EDM operating experience
REQUIRED
Experience with CNC and/or stamping equipment Experience performing machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and precision inspection equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Willing and able to travel to Lorain, Ohio Available for an immediate start Willing to work overtime as needed Preferred Experience Automotive manufacturing experience Quality inspection experience Experience operating multiple types of EDM/CNC equipment Strong manufacturing and mechanical troubleshooting background
Pay:
$16.50 per hour
