Job Title:
Manufacturing Operator Job Description Responsibilities Report to the lead for duty assignments, which include setting up, cleaning, and running processes. Operate, clean, and set up machines throughout the day. Move drums approximately every 15 minutes and check tablet quality every 15 to 30 minutes. Ensure the press is clean and properly set up before starting a batch. Label drums filled with tablets and check tablet weights, hardness, and size. Adjust machines as necessary to maintain adherence to instructions and batch documents. Clean and lubricate presses, install punches and dies. Maintain sanitation practices and follow GMP standards. Conduct friability tests on all products. Follow all safety and lockout/tagout SOPs. Support other departments as needed. Essential Skills Knowledge of GMP compliance. Experience in machine operation and compounding. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in real-time documentation and QA processes. Detail-oriented with strong teamwork skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a well-rounded manufacturing environment, especially in compression and wet granulation. Good documentation skills and experience with SOPs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hayward, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
