Punch Department Lead ROLE:

Mostly you'll be setting-up and running our EMK and Acies. Occasionally you'll setup and run our Vipros and Pegas. Since we have loading towers on much of our equipment, our operators often run multiple machines at once. You'll setup the machines, sharpen tools when needed, verify the programs are correct, and adhere to our quality policies to ensure the parts you make are good.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Safely, efficiently, and effectively setup and operate our NC punches Follow setup sheets and help revise old ones or generate new ones when needed Produce good parts on-time. You are responsible for the quality of every part you produce Interact with our ERP system correctly (punching in and out of jobs) As with all that work at Inland, help your fellow departments when they get in trouble

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

3 years' experience as an NC operator and able to setup and run EMKs or machines like them Familiar with Virtek laser inspection systems Must be able to read and follow blueprints/drawings Must be able to properly use relevant inspection equipment such as calipers and height gages. Physical strength to repeatedly lift and carry 25 lbs. Laser and/or waterjet experience a strong plus
