Temp/Temp-to-Hire Position Summary Kimco Staffing is hiring for a 1st Shift Water Bearing / Assembly position with a manufacturing and distribution company in Huntington Beach. This position involves assembling plumbing systems and fixtures, picking and inspecting parts, operating hand tools and material handling equipment, using an ERP computer system, and performing corrective maintenance on water systems. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions and safety regulations. Daily Duties Assemble plumbing systems and fixtures, including spouts, valves, showerheads, and other components. Inspect finished components during assembly to ensure they conform to quality standards. Follow instructions and locate parts using Pick Tickets. Notify the Team Leader of quality variances and parts shortages. Operate hand tools and push carts. Efficiently pick parts orders for final assembly, ensuring the correct number and type of part is obtained. Carry or transport orders to different staging areas utilizing material handling equipment. Read and count accurately, perform simple math, and write legibly. Scan tickets into the ERP computer system and occasionally retrieve order information. Perform corrective maintenance on water systems, such as valves and blow-offs. Requirements Adaptability and flexibility when encountering problems. Ability to communicate discrepancies to the Team Leader. Ability to solve problems and implement solutions. Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Dependability and persistence.
