Beasley Machine Operator Pro Staff Hire Soultions Mira Loma, CA Job Details Full-time $18.00 - $18.50 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Spanish Packing Machine operation High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Full Job Description Essential Job Functions Prepare the machine for running. Change Tapes and normal wear items. Blow down the machine. Check Quality and follow established quality procedures Cleaning and changing plates Clean and changing inks Preparation and changing rolls Maintain adequate inventory of supplies at the machine to keep the machine running efficiently. Leaving materials for the following shift. This includes but not limited to: o Glue o Inks o Water o Tapes o Rags Support and help packers with: o getting boxes o labeling boxes o putting boxes on pallets Return of unused materials back to designated areas. Keeping the machine area clean at all times. Reporting of mechanical problems to supervision. Set up and adjust the machine. This includes but not limited to. o Size changes Nip changes Pull changes Former plate changes Cylinder changes Knife changes o Nip Adjustment o Replacement of worn knives o Replacement of worn nip pads Helping maintenance with replacing parts on machines. This is to include but not limited to Anilox roller o Rubber roller Stagger lunches and breaks with packers and other operators to keep machines running at all times. Utilize safe work practices and follow established procedures. Utilize good manufacturing practices and follow established procedures. Responsible for reporting issues related to Food Packaging safety or quality. Perform other duties as assigned.
