Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lead Blending Operator to join our Production team at Proferrin Labs (a division of Colorado Biolabs, Inc.). This role will be responsible for operating and maintaining blending equipment (for dry powders) to ensure the accurate and efficient mixing of raw materials according to specified formulas and production schedules. Responsibilities Operate blending machinery and equipment to mix raw materials according to established formulas and procedures. Monitor and adjust blending processes to ensure consistency and quality of the final product. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blending equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent contamination. Accurately measure and record raw material quantities and batch information. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with quality control and production teams to address any issues or discrepencies. Assist in the development and improvement of blending processes and procedures. Train new blending employees on the actual blending process and cGMP Ability to communicate with a Supervisor, R&D and Quality teams as needed Experience with multiple blending and auxilary equipment is preferred Documentation responsibilities on batch records and log books Maintaining blending areas - need to be audit ready at all times Conduct regular inspections of the production area to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least one year or more of previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferable in the supplement or food industry Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions Legible handwritting Basic math skills and ability to measure and record quantities accurately Good communication skills Bilingual - English and Spanish (required) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds
