JOB DESCRIPTION

An operator should be reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Retain skills to operate and maintain machinery. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday; 2:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate machines to perform tasks Control and adjust machine settings Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines Prepare a test run to check if the machine produces output according to specifications Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools Check output periodically to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws Supervise the machines while they perform their tasks and make any necessary adjustments to a produce a better result Maintain activity logs Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a machine operator Skills in operating machinery and tooling as well as measurement tools (calipers, micrometer etc.) Understanding of production procedures Observance to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear) Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and manuals Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM Mechanical aptitude and good math skills A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach Teamwork and communication skills Please contact 714-684-1411 for additional questions.
