- Night Shift Join our dynamic food manufacturing team at Diamond Pet Foods as a Mixer (Batching) Operator specializing in our processing department. Opening is for Night Shift with working hours of 6:00 pm
- 6:25 am.

The Mixing Operator is to be proficient in every aspect of properly milling/batching product in a safe manner while adhering to production expectations.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Batch product according to production schedule. Complete Production Log and Mixing Lot Tracking form. Transfer product to mixing bins. Answer alarms and troubleshoot accordingly (high bin, elevator kick out, undertols/ over tols, etc). Fix broken bags. Conduct accurate bin and ingredient inventories. Fill microbins accordingly. Dump hoppers. Maintain accurate, complete, and legible paperwork. Keep workstation and surrounding area in a clean and safe manner at all times. Read schedules to determine type of product and time or arrival. Operate forklift. Communicate via two-way radio on a regular basis. Actively participate in coverage of employee absences. Perform all other additional duties and functions as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test, physical (physical, lifting, hearing, and vision), and background check Forklift experience is required. Food manufacturing operations is preferredWORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily indoors near operating equipment. Works in both low and high heights, cold, hot, dusty areas where loose particles may be present. Works near operating equipment and loud noise, such as forklift horns and machinery. Loose and dusty particles may be present.Benefits
