Job Description
Our growing team is seeking an organized, and proactive candidate to fill the role of Laser Operator on our swing shift M-F 12:30PM - 9:00
PM Laser Operator:
Sets up, and operates AmadaFOM2 3015 NT
according to specifications of work orders.Overview Of Responsibilities:
- Review the schedule of jobs and execute plan within scheduled production time; report work via shop floor computer system.
- Operates Laser Machine
- Examines products for quality, and makes adjustments as needed.
- Performs routine preventative maintenance on cutter machines, including cleaning scrap trays and filters.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Assist in other finishing operations as needed.
Experience and Education :
- 5+ years of experience
- Must know basic math and how to use basic measuring equipment a ruler, tape measure.
- Must have basic computer knowledge; shop floor computer systems a plus.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to complete physical assessment
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 pounds
- Frequently lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds using mechanical equipment
- Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
- Regularly stand for extended periods of time We are offering 40+ hours a week, 401K, health benefits, sick pay, and vacation pay.
