Secondary Operator / Swiss Machine Assistant (Will Train)

$18.00 - $19.00 (Pay based on experience with QC instruments)

Full-Time Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Start time may change to earlier shift in the future) We are currently hiring a Secondary Operator to support our Swiss Machine department . This role is a combination of secondary operations and machine operator support , and no prior machine shop experience is required — we will train the right candidate. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, patient, and able to multitask , as the Swiss department produces very small precision parts in high volume.

Responsibilities:

Perform secondary operations on small precision parts Assist as a second operator on Swiss machines Load material bars into machines (2-5 lbs) Inspect parts for quality (QC training provided) Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers (experience is a plus) Maintain cleanliness of the Swiss area, including sweeping and mopping Follow safety and quality standards at all times

Requirements:

No prior machine shop experience required — training provided Ability to lift at least 20 pounds Strong attention to detail and patience for repetitive work Ability to multitask on some days and remain focused on one task for full shifts on others Willingness to work in a machine shop environment that may be cold in winter and hot in summer Reliable attendance and positive work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using micrometers and/or calipers Previous manufacturing or production experience
