This role ensures accurate measurements, quality cuts, safe machine operation, and efficient material handling. Key Responsibilities Operate vertical or horizontal panel saw machines safely and efficiently Read and interpret work orders, and cutting lists Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting Adjust saw settings, blades, and guides for different materials and dimensions Inspect finished pieces for accuracy and quality Maintain production records and material usage logs Perform routine machine maintenance and blade changes Follow workplace safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Keep work area clean and organized Coordinate with production, assembly, and warehouse teams Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must have experience operating panel saws woodworking machinery Ability to read measuring tools accurately (tape measures, calipers, rulers) Basic math and blueprint-reading skills Knowledge of material handling and shop safety Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines Preferred Qualifications Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or sign production Familiarity with industrial cutting software or optimization systems Working Conditions Manufacturing or warehouse environment Exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required Typical Equipment Used Vertical panel saws Horizontal beam saws Measuring and layout tools Forklifts or pallet jacks Salary Panel saw operators.

$25-$27/hour
