Connect Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator for a vinyl graphic design and coating manufacturer in Placentia, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $19.00/hr with up to 2 hours of daily overtime available. In this role, you will load and thread material rolls onto the unwind shaft, monitor coating machine output to ensure it meets quality standards, and set up pumps, totes, hoses, liners, and adhesives according to work orders. Weekend availability is required for this role.

6:00 AM- 2:30PM , weekend availability required. Must have overtime availability as well.

Manufacturing Plant / Factory Responsibilities Monitor coating machine operation throughout the shift to verify output meets quality standards and catch any issues early. Align and thread material through the machine path after loading the roll onto the unwind shaft. Unload finished rolls from the machine and move them to the correct staging area. Set up pump, tote, hose, liner, and adhesive assemblies according to each work order. Read and interpret shop orders, material part numbers, and weekly product schedules to confirm correct materials and setups. Minimum Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or factory environment. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Experience operating or monitoring automated coating, laminating, or converting machinery. Familiarity with reading work orders, part numbers, or production schedules. Experience handling or staging large material rolls, film, or web-based substrates. Background in vinyl graphics, label stock, adhesive film, or similar specialty materials. Experience setting up fluid handling components such as pumps, hoses, or tote systems.
