Glue Machine Operator Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91739 $17.50 an hour - Full-time $17.50 an hour - Full-time Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Glue Machine Operator and become a vital part of the production process! In this energetic role, you will operate and monitor glue application machinery to ensure precise adhesion in packaging and product assembly. Your expertise will help maintain high-quality standards, optimize workflow efficiency, and support the seamless operation of our manufacturing line. Essential Functions Prepares work area by preparing glue station for operation and stocks supplies according to the daily production work load. Follows appropriate production schedule and current manufacturing procedures to produce mattresses. Assembles Foam Core or Foam Encased mattresses utilizing the correct components in accordance to our specifications and assembles with hot melt or water-based adhesive, working within a team operation or in combination with other employees as needed or instructed. Completes any necessary paperwork or production related documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Achieves or exceeds daily production and quality goals. Complies with all department and company safety rules. Reports machine problems outside of operator's capability to correct to the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager. Maintains a clean work area and completes daily area clean-up tasks at the end of shift. Properly disposes of trash and scrap at the end of the shift and as often as needed. Notifies Production Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues Qualifications Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions. Must grip, push, pull, and reach over shoulder level with both hands. While performing duties, operator will regularly be required to stand, walk, stoop, and bend in order to operate equipment. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE). Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Good hand/eye coordination . Attention to detail. Ability to plan and organize . Has good time management skills. Cooperative, team oriented, patient, calm under pressure, and able to work independently. Ability to function in fast-paced environment.
