Automotive Mfg Company is looking for a highly experienced CNC Mill Setup Machinist to join our manufacturing team. We are looking for a true setup person—not simply a machine operator. What You'll Do Set up Haas CNC vertical mills from New and/or established programs and setup documentation Produce fixture holding from setup sheets Install and touch off tooling Set work offsets and establish part zero Set up vises, fixtures and workholding Load and prove out CNC programs Run first articles and make necessary adjustments Make minor G-code, offset, speed and feed adjustments when needed Read blueprints and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gauges and other inspection equipment Troubleshoot machining and setup issues Maintain part quality throughout production Work independently and efficiently to keep machines running What We're Looking For Strong CNC mill setup experience Haas & Brother CNC experience strongly preferred 4th Axis Machining Ability to perform a complete setup without constant supervision Strong understanding of tooling, offsets and workholding Ability to read CNC programs and make minor edits Blueprint reading and inspection experience Good mechanical/problem-solving ability Reliable and quality focused

Pay:

$30.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 55.0 per week
