Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Foam Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team with iStaffing. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating vertical saws, horizontal saws, and foam convoluter machines used in mattress manufacturing. This position ensures foam is cut to specification, maintains accurate foam inventory records, and coordinates with the Receiving Department and BOM (Bill of Materials) Manager to support production requirements and inventory accuracy. 1st

Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM Call Our office 909-294-2900 Duties
  • Operate vertical foam saws to cut foam blocks according to production specifications.
  • Operate horizontal foam saws to produce foam sheets of required thickness.
  • Operate foam convoluter machines to create egg-crate and specialty foam products.
  • Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and cutting specifications.
  • Verify dimensions and quality of finished foam components.
  • Adjust machine settings and perform minor troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards. Requirements Previous experience operating foam cutting equipment or industrial machinery preferred.
  • Experience in mattress manufacturing is a plus.
  • Basic computer and recordkeeping skills.
  • Ability to read work orders and production documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production personnel, Receiving, and inventory management staff. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequently lift, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery and varying temperatures.
Pay:
$23.00 per hour
