MIXER SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Ensure mixing ingredients are accurate according to the most updated formula following the GMP's and Food Safety procedures. The employee must be responsible and knowledgeable with machinery, must know how to operate and clean the machinery. DUTIES Some of the duties of this position are those described below. This job description does not state or imply that the duties listed are the only duties and responsibilities assigned to this position. Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management. ▪ Comply with all Plant, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations. ▪ Prepare material for batched ▪ Ensure formulations are followed for each batch. ▪ Verifies Temperature of Dough ▪ Mix the ingredients to make Dough ▪ Cutting bags properly ▪ Identifies the ingredients with weights and lot number ▪ Line Cleaning (All equipment) ▪ Assist the operator during breaks or lunch ▪ Fill Out the Daily Prod. Report ▪ Order Material for Warehouse. ▪ Avoid using raw material that may be damaged, or defective be it, color, appearance, expiration date, etc. ▪ Verify that the product in process is within product specification, color, appearance, diameter, and weight. ▪ Start up machinery as well as shutting it down ▪ Verify machinery temperature (within product specification) ▪ Document all the pertinent information on the mixing logs ▪ Inform the Lead and Supervisor of any discrepancies in product or problems with machinery ▪ Follow all safety procedures in a proper manner. ▪ Dress appropriately and wear all required personal protective equipment assigned (PPE). ▪ Use lockout/tag out devices and procedures as required. ▪ Other duties may be assigned based on department and business needs.
