The Role:
We are looking for an Assembly Associate with a genuine passion for excellence and a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. The ideal candidate will have experience in light or medium assembly operations. This individual will be mechanically inclined with high energy and a passion to learn new skills. Previous assembly experience preferred but we are willing to train qualified individuals.Job Responsibilities:
Perform assembly of electrical components in both a manual and semi-automated environment. Performs electrical and mechanical installations on machines and other equipment. Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies Positions and/or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists. Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts. Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. Examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer?s instructions, and calling for repairs. Read and decipher assembly instructions. Interprets technical documents, such as diagrams, and/or other verbal or written instructions. Conducts quality control checks as required to ensure correct assembly. Documents actions by completing productions and quality forms. Identifies any defective items and handles them according to established procedures. Participates in daily shift meetings. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Adhere to company accountability standards pertaining to attendance, safety, and workmanship Attend training as required and perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent, strongly preferred Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills Ability to read and follow detailed assembly instructions. Ability to work in a manual assembly operation and willingness to cross train and learn new tasks. A basic understanding of AC/DC currents, strongly preferred Identification of AC/DC designation and of wire coding, strongly preferred. Works well independently and with others. Organized with attention to detail. Posses a strong safety management mindset, especially electrical safety, and a strong focus on quality control.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 40 pounds. Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small. Must have good eyesight, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to differentiate between colors.Salary:
