Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packager to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently assembling, packaging, and preparing products for shipment while adhering to safety standards and quality protocols. Responsibilities Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble and package products accurately according to production specifications. Use forklifts and manual handling techniques to move raw materials, components, and finished goods safely within the factory. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and assembly instructions to ensure precise product assembly and packaging. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, safety standards in production, and lean manufacturing principles to promote a safe working environment. Conduct quality checks during packaging processes, ensuring products meet quality standards before shipment. Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements for productivity. Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while following proper manual handling procedures to prevent injuries. Qualifications Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of assembly line operations. Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings. Familiarity with forklift operation and certification is highly preferred. Experience with manufacturing management systems or production document interpretation is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining safety protocol adherence. Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing is a plus. Strong mechanical assembly skills combined with technical proficiency in using various tools and equipment.
