Job Description

Heading Machine Operator Level 4: The operator should have experience in backward extrusion progressive heading. This is different than heading bolts.
Position Summary:
Level Four:
Level four heading machine operators demonstrate expert trouble shooting, full area cross training abilities as well as demonstrate advanced knowledge of backwards extrusion progressive header tooling configurations and function. Level four operators will demonstrate advanced product knowledge including design, performance, and critical dimensions. They will also be involved in the development and design of new or improved processes and tools focusing on cost saving, as well as training lower-level employees. 5+
Years Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
 Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.  Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.  Correctly interpret work orders  Lift up to 35lbs  Assist in training & machine setups  Work with engineering/tooling in trouble shooting  Involvement in development and design of new or improved processes/tools  Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.  Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Skills:
 The ability to read and write English.  Advanced print reading & inspection processes  Advanced familiarity of header tooling & equipment (Progressive & Non-Progressive)  Advanced knowledge of wire material & coatings  Advanced trouble shooting  Advanced knowledge of product (Design & Performance) Experience & Education  Typically, 5+ Years of Experience  GED or High school diploma preferred but not required Hours•4 a.m.•12:30 p.m.
Pay:
$25.46•$34.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
