Job Duties Set up, operate, and monitor encapsulation machinery following batch records, SOPs, and safety guidelines Ensure equipment runs efficiently and produces high-quality capsules Perform machine troubleshooting, adjustments, and changeovers as needed Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Complete equipment cleaning and preventative maintenance Maintain accurate documentation: batch records, production logs, and cleaning forms (GDP) Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with cGMP standards Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues promptly Support training for new operators and contribute to continuous improvement efforts Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience Requirements 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or packaging (encapsulation experience a plus) Familiarity with cGMP and SOPs in regulated environments (FDA/food/pharma preferred) Mechanical aptitude for machine setup and minor repairs Basic computer skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Experience working with powders or raw materials is helpful Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
