In this role, you will operate a variety of precision machinery, including CNC machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and press brake machines. Your expertise will ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, meet strict quality standards, and adhere to safety protocols. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing equipment such as CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, and flexo presses to produce components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure precise machining and fabrication. Program and troubleshoot CNC machinery using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), Fanuc controls, and CNC programming techniques. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and quality standards. Maintain safety standards by performing regular equipment checks, adhering to lockout/tagout procedures, and operating forklifts for materials handling within the manufacturing facility. Assist with assembly line tasks including fabrication, tooling setup, welding, packaging, and materials handling to support overall production flow. Document production activities accurately through shift reports, quality control logs, and incident reports to ensure traceability and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, or flexo presses within a factory or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings confidently. Familiarity with CNC programming languages (Fanuc preferred), CAD software like SolidWorks or similar tools, and CAM programming for machining operations. Ability to use precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers for quality assurance purposes. Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification is a plus. Basic math skills necessary for machine setup and measurement calculations. Knowledge of safety procedures related to manufacturing equipment operation including welding practices when applicable. Prior factory or warehouse experience demonstrating reliability in a fast-paced production setting is highly desirable.
