In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your expertise in machining, tooling, and quality control will ensure that production runs smoothly while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where precision, technical skill, and teamwork are essential for success. Responsibilities Operate and monitor advanced machinery including CNC lathes, and CNC programming equipment to produce components according to specifications. Set up machines using blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job. Conduct routine inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform troubleshooting and minor maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling materials, tools, and equipment; operate forklifts safely for materials handling within the manufacturing facility. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow and packaging of finished products. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine settings, inspection results, and shift reports. Requirements Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC lathes, manual screw machines Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with CNC programming (Fanuc controls preferred), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming. Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments effectively for quality assurance purposes. Knowledge of materials handling procedures including forklift operation certification is a plus. Basic math skills necessary for calculating measurements and machine adjustments. Experience with fabrication processes such as welding or stamping is advantageous but not required. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality control procedures.
