5.00am to 3.30pm Monday - Thursday (4/10 Schedule) The Machine Shop Helper will assist with the production of custom-made springs for a variety of industries for use in controls switches connectors and valves. This position will use smooth clean and finish parts using measuring tools.
Job Duties:
The Shop Helper will be assisting in the production of custom metal spring stamping. Will operate machinery such as stamping machines and may also operate a grinder to smooth out clean and finish parts. Must have the ability to measure parts using various tools and techniques including calipers spring testers gauges and other measuring devices. Must be mechanically inclined and have a high level of attention to detail. May perform general housekeeping duties in the shop and assist with other tasks.
