Full Job Description Description:
Starting salary for this position is $21/hour. Previous machine operator experience is required. This is a day shift, Monday through Friday. Open until filled. Who is Bron? Job Summary:
The Machine Operator I is an entry level position which supports the organization by performing essential warehouse tasks and operating various machinery. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality and a desire to contribute to a dynamic production environment, we encourage you to apply.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Slitting a variety of adhesive materials per unique customer specifications Packaging and kitting orders Preparing orders for shipment per customer requirements Operating slitting machines, shrink tunnels, pallet wrappers, click presses, and basic CNC programs with proper set-up techniques, diagrams, and work instructions Performing Quality inspections of finished goods during and after production Utilizing Warehouse Management System to track material and record orders Maintaining lot segregation and quality control throughout the warehouse Material handling, inspection, and product verification Participate in inventory management and validation Adhering to machine maintenance schedules and maintaining service logs Process documentation and adherence to robust quality program Maintaining safety, organization, and cleanliness of warehouse Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly with teammates and understand written direction Technical hands-on material handling experience is a plus Familiarity with quality and safety standards Highly attentive to detail Experience working in a fast-paced production and sales environment Some experience with forklift operation preferred Basic computer skills preferred
Physical Requirements:
Good mobility and able to lift up to 60 pounds Able to stand for long periods during shift Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse which may require lifting, standing, and carrying, during the workday Benefits Bron Tapes offers a full benefits package after 30 days of employment. 401k with match (after 60 days of employment) Medical
