Litz Operator Job Description The Litz Operator sets up and operates specialized machinery that combines multiple thin wires into a single larger conductor. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly resolve issues such as snags or knots in the wire to maintain product quality and efficient production. Responsibilities Set up and operate machines that combine multiple thin wires into one larger wire according to production specifications. Load, thread, and align thin wire onto the machine, ensuring proper placement and tension. Monitor machines during operation to identify snags, knots, or other irregularities in the wire. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with wire snags, knots, or machine operation to minimize downtime. Perform in-process quality control checks, including visual inspection to identify small defects and verify color accuracy. Make appropriate decisions regarding machine setup adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency. Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, reach, lift, push, and pull materials and components during production. Sit or stand for extended periods while operating machinery and performing inspections. Lift and move materials weighing up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 55 lbs occasionally, following safe lifting practices. Occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or perform similar movements as required by production tasks. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members and communicate any production or quality issues to appropriate personnel. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loveland, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
