In this role, you will operate and maintain laser cutting equipment, ensuring precise fabrication of metal components. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to excellence, efficiency, and safety in all production processes. Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and operate laser cutting machines to produce accurate metal parts according to specifications Monitor machine performance during operation, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality output Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laser equipment to minimize downtime Follow sanitation procedures and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with team leads to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality Document production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities accurately in company records Double check parts prior to moving parts to next operation ensuring finished products meet client specifications Requirements Experience preferred operating laser cutting or similar machinery in a manufacturing or fabrication setting Prefer knowledge of metal materials, fabrication techniques, and able to read drawings Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively Prefer experience working in the metal fabrication or manufacturing.
