Gameday Field Crew Hartford Yard Goats - 3.8 Hartford, CT Job Details 18 hours ago Qualifications Outdoor work Full Job Description The Hartford Yard Goats, Double-A Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, are seeking motivated, hardworking individuals to join our 2026 Field Crew. This position will run through the remainder of the season. Individuals will be tasked with pregame set up and postgame cleaning up, as well as in game maintenance, for Yard Goats home games. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the sports industry in an outdoor environment. Duties Pre-game preparation Prepare pitching mounds, home plate area, and bullpens for games Drag field pre-game and in game Assist in tarp pulls and tarp covers on game days and non-game days Field repair maintenance Cleaning/organizing dugouts, bullpens, field and grounds shops Set up and tear down batting practice Other duties as assigned Requirements Grounds experience not required Baseball experience required Collegiate/High school playing experience preferred Must be available throughout the summer Must be available to pull tarp throughout the season Must enjoy watching baseball Must be able to work long hours Must be able to work nights and weekends Work in various weather conditions Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
