Maine Oxy is hiring a Filler for our Production team. You'll safely fill medical, high-pressure, and liquid gas cylinders, then test, label, and prepare them for our customers. You don't need gas industry experience. If you're dependable and pay attention to detail, we'll teach you everything: our equipment, our processes, and our standards. What you'll earn along the way Forklift certification Hands-on training in DOT and FDA safe-handling standards A specialized trade skill that stays on your resume Paid Monthly training to keep leveling up What we offer $22/hour, plus a $1/hour shift differential on eligible shifts Overtime available Company-paid short-term disability Health care, Long-term disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match 3 weeks of paid time off Company-provided PPE, plus paid safety boots and work pants What you'll do Inspect and prep cylinders, then fill them by pressure and weight Run quality and purity tests using specialized equipment Complete safety checks and label cylinders accurately Keep records that meet DOT, FDA, and Maine Oxy requirements Operate a forklift and material-handling equipment Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe What we're looking for High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and a commitment to following procedures Ability to work independently on a deadline Comfortable operating a forklift, or willing to learn Able to read safety information and Safety Data Sheets Heads up: this is real physical work On your feet all day: standing, bending, reaching, and lifting Lift 25 to 75 pounds regularly, heavier items with equipment Work indoors and out, from roughly -10°F to over 100°F Use your senses to spot potential gas leaks (see, hear, smell) Why Maine Oxy What we make matters: welding, manufacturing, healthcare, food and beverage, and more Safety isn't a poster on the wall, it's how we work every day A team that trains you right and has your back Ready to apply?
