Sunday - Thursday 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Responsible for the minor setup adjustments, quality checks and operation of envelope machines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESPerform minor setup on machines in a timely manner. Clean the machine prior to setup. Make minor adjustments/ corrections to ensure dimensions and quality of piece; monitor production.

Perform cutting operations; make necessary minor adjustments.

Perform folder operations and operate folder.

Perform quality checks per work instructions.

Hand-gather finished work and pack as necessary.

Perform other department operations as required.

Keep the immediate work area neat and orderly.

Comply with company rules and regulations.

Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.

Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve the operating efficiency of the department.

Keep the manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.

Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or GED. COMPETENCIESThorough understanding of envelope manufacturing equipment setup and operation.

Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor machine repairs.

Ability to apply written instructions to machine operation and product quality.

Good math skillsReliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to the workstationDemonstrates a positive safety attitude
