Full Job Description Job Title:
Production Associate Job Description As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for the safe manufacturing of metal E Rings, utilizing standard measuring devices and gauges, and safely operating all manufacturing equipment involved in the process. Responsibilities Manufacture metal E-Rings according to documentation and procedures. Safely operate Planish Press, Belt Sander, Roll Form Machines, Polish Equipment, and Hydraulic Presses to manufacture completed parts. Read and interpret work instructions. Communicate with others on work order status and completion. Perform assembly and inspection. Essential Skills Machine operation Assembly and inspection Mechanical aptitude Computer skills Ability to read and write English Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma Basic math skills Ability to lift 25 pounds Ability to work in a team environment Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to use a computer Why Work Here? Work Environment Production Associates work alongside other team members, Manufacturing Leads, and Manufacturing Support. The role requires frequent standing and walking, use of hands to operate machines, measuring devices, and computers. Specific vision abilities are required for close vision tasks. Regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others are expected.
Shifts are available as follows:
1st shift from 7AM-3:30PM, Monday to Friday with potential for overtime; 2nd shift from 3PM-12AM Monday to Thursday and 3PM-7PM Friday; 3rd shift from 11PM-7AM Sunday to Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
