A Manufacturing Machine Operator operates machinery used in a manufacturing facility, including a range of machines used for the production or transport of goods.
Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Must be available to work every other weekend. Job Summary The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production machines to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and meet quality standards. This role also supports the production team by helping with machine setup, troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities Operate production and thermoforming machinery safely and efficiently Load and unload materials into machines Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met Remove scrap material and keep production lines running smoothly Assist with machine setup and basic preventative maintenance Troubleshoot minor machine or quality issues Complete required production paperwork and documentation Maintain a clean and organized work area Work closely with supervisors, mechanics, and team members to support production goals Follow all company safety and housekeeping procedures Qualifications Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Strong attention to detail and quality Mechanical aptitude is a plus Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed Reliable attendance and teamwork required Schedule 12-hour rotating night shifts: 7:00 AM- 7:00 PM Must be flexible to work every other weekend Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
