As an Aerospace Systems Assembly Technician, you'll help craft the mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration subsystems that power mission-critical equipment for a global leader in aviation and aerospace. This is a stable, full-time role in a team-first, safety-centered environment with the tools, training, and support to grow. How your day takes shape Kick off with a safety huddle and review of drawings and travelers. Assemble components to spec, verify fit and function, and perform required tests. Document progress in production logs/travelers and flag any issues early. Keep your cell clean, orderly, and audit-ready—safety is everyone's job. Choose your craft Mechanical Assembly Work hands-on with sheet metal components and mechanical systems vital to our equipment. Assemble sheet metal parts using drills, wrenches, and other hand and power tools. Conduct pressure checks on valves and related components. Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings with accuracy. Maintain a safe, organized work area and support continuous improvement. Record completed work in production logs/travelers. Preferred background Mechanical assembly experience (1+ year preferred). Blueprint literacy and competent use of measuring tools. High attention to detail, quality, and workmanship. Comfort working independently or collaboratively. Basic computer/tablet skills. Electrical Assembly Build and wire electrical components used across our industrial equipment portfolio. Assemble and wire components using crimpers, soldering irons, and standard hand tools. Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings. Perform basic equipment maintenance and operate safely. Maintain accurate production logs and documentation. Keep a clean, organized station. Preferred background Experience with electrical assembly or wiring (1+ year preferred). Ability to read/interpret electrical schematics and drawings. Quality- and efficiency-driven, with troubleshooting mindset.
Physically active work:
standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and work in confined spaces. Team-oriented with the ability to work independently as needed. Refrigeration Assembly Assemble refrigeration systems integral to air conditioning units and specialized equipment. Use pipe cutters, pipe benders, and welding/soldering equipment to assemble copper tubing and components. Perform pressure and leak testing on finished assemblies. Interpret technical drawings and assembly sketches accurately. Maintain precise documentation and production logs. Uphold a clean, organized work environment. Preferred background Refrigeration/HVAC assembly experience preferred. Hands-on experience with copper fittings and soldering. Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools with confidence. Basic computer skills a plus. Strong attention to detail and overall quality.
