Job Description As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring industrial machines to manufacture various metal products. You will make precise adjustments to machine settings to meet product specifications and ensure consistent quality. Loading raw materials and handling finished products safely will also be part of your daily routine. Responsibilities +
Ensure Quality:
Adjust machine settings to meet specifications and inspect finished products for accuracy. +
Maintain and Troubleshoot:
Perform routine maintenance, identify issues, and work with the maintenance team for repairs. +
Prioritize Safety:
Follow all safety protocols, wear PPE , and report hazards promptly. +
Collaborate and Grow:
Communicate effectively with team members and participate in training sessions to enhance your skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred + 2+ years of experience operating machinery in a steel plant or similar industrial setting + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills + Ability to utilize computer software + Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting industrial machinery + Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics + Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is a plus + Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs Why Work Here?
