Responsibilities Operate extrusion machinery and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance throughout production runs Perform routine machine setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and dimensional measurements to verify product specifications meet strict standards Handle materials safely and efficiently using forklift operations and materials handling techniques within the warehouse environment Monitor production processes closely, adjusting parameters as needed based on engineering troubleshooting and process feedback Maintain accurate documentation of production data, quality checks, and safety compliance records Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industrial equipment troubleshooting procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members Qualifications Proven experience with plastics extrusion, plastics injection molding, or plastics blow molding in a manufacturing setting Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control and troubleshooting Ability to perform precision measurements using measurement (quality control) tools and ensure dimensional accuracy in finished products Basic math skills for calculations related to machine settings, measurements, and quality control processes Warehouse experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is preferred Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial manufacturing environments is essential Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot engineering issues quickly and effectively Join our team as an Extrusion Technician if you're eager to contribute your technical expertise in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
