Our client is seeking a motivated Machine Operator to help keep their high‑volume bakery production running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. This is a third‑shift position (6pm-6am) with weekly overtime (5-15 hours) and competitive pay ranging from $20-$25/hr , depending on experience. What You'll Do As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in producing high‑quality baked products by: Setting up and operating equipment such as mixers, dividers, molders, proofers, ovens, slicers, and packaging machinery Following detailed work instructions to calculate, prepare, and load materials accurately Monitoring equipment performance and product quality and making appropriate adjustments Performing basic preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and minor adjustments Troubleshooting common issues such as jams, misfeeds, alarms, and minor product defects Completing production and quality documentation accurately and on time Maintaining a clean, organized, and food‑safe workspace Working collaboratively with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet daily goals What You Bring 1. Machine Operating Experience Experience with at least one of the following types of machinery (from any industry): Batch mixers, blenders, extruders, injection or compression equipment, blow mold machines, automated production lines, ovens, kilns, furnaces, cartoners, wrappers, case packers, labelers, packaging machines, dividers, molders, proofers, slicers, fillers, and similar equipment. 2. Ability to Interpret Work Instructions You can read and follow production specifications, calculate materials, and ensure the correct setup based on product requirements. 3. Basic HMI (Human-Machine Interface) Knowledge Comfort with entering operator‑level settings to run batches properly and identify issues that should be escalated to maintenance.
