- Team Leader (1st Shift
- Monday to Thrusday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm)
Job Purpose :
The primary function of this position is to be responsible for manufacturing capsules with high quality, for equipment operation including set-up, operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting with strict adherence to all applicable SOP's, FDA
- cGMPs and safety protocols.
Operators and other production associates work along. Additionally, oversee all plant sanitation aspects and ensure proper sanitation throughout the facilities, and recommend and spearhead the implementation of improvements in safety, manufacturing, and sanitation practices to management.
Essential Functions & Duties:
- Lead, supervise, train, discipline, and counsel manufacturing operators.
- Interact with QAQC personnel on quality-related and compliance issues.
- Process works orders and Batch Production Records (BPRs) accurately and productively. Obtain correct components necessary to produce orders.
- Correctly complete all productivity recording and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) paperwork including daily logs, work orders, and training logs.
- Manufacture ingredients from specified raw materials.
- Work in a team environment to complete daily production activities to accomplish department goals and objectives.
- Run, clean, maintain and calibrate manufacturing tooling and equipment as well as understand their operation.
- Clean and maintain floors, walls, and facilities.
- Understand industry standards and regulations to operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise both mechanically and electrically.
- Remove or dispose of waste and clean production and storage areas.
- Move and lift product, bags, crates and skids while staging and preparing product for manufacturing, and/or mixing (25 pounds
- continually, and 25-60 pounds
- occasionally).
- Perform other related duties as assigned. In performing these essential functions and duties, the Operator shall rely upon and be guided by the Company's values and operating principles.
